Remember that the banks were stuck with forcing to give sub-prime loans to people who had no means to repay them.  They had to do something to try to protect their money and possibly even make a profit. (GASP!, the &quot;p&quot; word).   When the GOVERNMENT thugs squeeze at one end, you get an appropriate-sized bubble at the other end.  The trick was to pull out before the house of cards came crashing down.  But for the whole mess at large, you have Frank, Dodd and Kennedy to thank, among many other liberals.]]></description>
