I am a bit confused by your reply here Jean... care to expound?

It is hard for me to equate human freedom with collectivism since the two are the antithesis of one another and this is a demonstrable fact of society. So how is promoting liberty correlated with promoting a collectivist system such as Communism?

The only thing we promote over here at the LV is freedom, without prejudice. If you could demonstrate to me how relying on the collective will of society over your own free will is not antithetical to freedom I am all ears.

I was very sorry to see this anti-communist article in Liberty Voice, which I have been viewing as a champion of liberty par excellence.

It is very easy to select ominous quotations from individuals with which to paint an entire ideology. That is the substance of propaganda, and the weapon of every predatory government. More relevant to this economically critical time, when the present Establishment is threatened, the effort to divide and conquer rears an ugly head.

People frightened by forces they only dimly perceive blame the Republicans, blame the Democrats, blame the Jews, blame the blacks, blame the undocumented, blame the welfare recipients - the poor and the rich, blame the unions, blame the corporations, blame the banks, and blame anyone who receives a helping hand from the government.

With the upheaval of a technological revolution, we are, indeed, thrown into economic turmoil. But we need to sort out our solutions rationally. Demogoguing on the Totalitarian Left does more harm than good.
