Clearly, humans have little difficulty harboring mutually contradictory views, in general. Fifty years ago I puzzled over contradictions between the authority of the State and authority of so-called divine scriptures given lip-service by religious leaders espousing Christian ethics. Come on now, where have leaders of Western states' Christian churches been during the last century's wars? Blessing tanks for their respective states. Baldwin, face it. You are an exception. Christian ethics are too intellectual for your flocks, members of which leave confusing ideas inside when they walk out your doors on Sunday. You might enjoy reading "The 911 Cat is out of the bag" online. Google it.
