It does a disservice to the memory of Rube Goldberg who created comically over engineered inventions that performed simple tasks. The difference being, Goldberg’s stuff worked!

The article is just more anecdotal “evidence” that the proposed fix will not work (I’m NOT saying it will). It’s claim the the free market will fix everthing is both shallow and wrong. “Free” market policies are great… for corporations not people.

It’s a shame that the LV has become a tool of the right. Reminds me of the Groucho Marx saying, “Whatever it is, I’m against it. No matter what it is or who commenced it, I’m against it. …
