Militarization of police? You bet. Read it for yourself. The suspect was thought to be involved with cockfighting. He was unarmed. There was not a suspicion that he was armed. Not a pure instance, I grant, because actor Steven Seagal was in on this through a contract with the sheriff who did it. That itself is incredible.
