You’re going to call people being fooled by the Onion as them being “unshocked by the news”? Them believing it had nothing to do with any preconceptions of Obama, it had to do with The Onion being very talented in producing legit looking news parodies.
I hate when people are just looking around and scrounging up anything they can say bad about a president. Unless its something serious he’s doing wrong, you have nothing to say, so lets keep it that way.

I don’t think any constitutionally-minded American would have to look far to “[look] around and [scrounge] up anything they can say bad about a president.” but otherwise, your point is well taken. Additionally, sometimes, it’s helpful to “scrounge around” and find needed humor in what IS wrong with our national leadership.
