Ron Paul Secures Second Place in New Hampshire

2:30 EST – Most NH election results (95% reporting) are in. Ron Paul remains in solid 2nd and stands a great chance to move on to South Carolina with a competitive number of delegates.
Paul ended the day 16.6% and 40,215 votes behind Mitt Romney, who took first place with 39.4% of the vote.
The next candidate after Paul was Obama’s pick for ambassador to China, John Huntsman, with 16.8%. Newt Gingrich netted just 9.4%.
