Those waivers are serious. Even without them a mere law CANNOT contradict the Constitution. If it does, it is nullified by the Supreme Court and law officers must set the individual free.

The bill was deliberately constructed to set a constitutional trap for Obama by the Republicans in Congress. You see, it seems to the Great Unwashed, like you, to give him extra-constitutional powers although if you’d been forced, as I was, to study the Constitution in school, you would realize that no law can do this.

The Republicans gave Obama what Bush wanted before 2008 so that a Republican president can start locking up members of #OccupyWallStreet come January 2013…next year. Meanwhile, Obama’s own constituency, including left-libertarians, are having temper tantrums directed at Obama.

NDAA-bashing is jerking yourself off.

Obama, just a chocolate Bush. The greatest enemy is always the enemy within. History clearly shows the most frighting thing any free society can hear is *in the interest of national security*. None could argue that the U.S. is now significantly different than Stalin Russia druing the purges, everyone is a potential enemy of the state. The entire “terrorist” hoax and all the baseless lies the Bush cabal used to attack Iraq, first of six countries set for invason, was planned well-before several Saudis knocked down two buildings (9/11) and The Bush gang (now Obama) destroyed america. Obama just announced increase in military spending (already greater than the nex tewn countries combined) while the american people go homeless, hungry, hungry children in this third world country. Plenty of money for the military, none for our country*s poor. Vote !
