Forgive me for being cynical, but Fox News’ claim that airing the wrong CPAC footage and then introducing an interview with Ron Paul on the false premise that he had been booed was merely a “mistake” rings somewhat hollow, especially given the fact that Fox, along with the rest of the establishment media networks, have for years consistently denigrated the Congressman’s presidential aspirations with a myriad of dirty tricks, lies and smear campaigns.

The United States government has overestimated the amount of shame that it and American citizens can live down. On February 15 “the indispensable people” had to suffer the hypocrisy of the U.S. Secretary of State delivering a speech about America’s commitment to Internet freedom while the U.S. Department of Justice (sic) brought unconstitutional action against Twitter to reveal any connection between WikiLeaks and Bradley Manning, the American hero who, in keeping with the U.S. Military Code, exposed U.S. government war crimes and who is being held in punishing conditions not permitted by the U.S. Constitution.

Is Barack Obama trying to play a joke on all of us? The budget that the Obama administration has submitted for fiscal 2012 is so out of touch with reality that it may as well be a budget for “Narnia”, “Fantasy Island”, “Atlantis” or some other mythical land. You can view the hard numbers for Barack Obama’s 2012 budget right here. Obama’s budget assumes that the U.S. will experience economic growth of over 5 percent for most of the coming decade.

Barack Obama recently made nice with the Chamber of Commerce and American corporate interests. The Republican punditry in America assumes this is a thinly veiled attempt to “move to the center” in preparation for a difficult 2012 reelection campaign. Jim Cramer hailed Obama’s speech to the Chamber as an epiphany by the President. Obama finally understands the American engine according to Cramer, meaning the President finally gets the importance of Wall Street asset inflation and debt financed personal consumption. The channeling of the Reagan myth was complete. The speech to the Chamber of Commerce did not signal a radical shift in the American fascist system in any way shape or form; actually it was a complete acquiescence by the President to the machine. It was quite a sight to behold.
