Steve Christopher turned in 2750 signatures and was given a receipt for that number. I wonder myself where most of those went? My husband and I gathered signatures in Knox County and we are helping confirm these signatures. This had better turn out okay!! We gathered those signatures in the 10 day time frame before the Feb 18th deadline, in horrible weather. It wasn't easy.

There has been some new news about those signatures. It seems that Brunners office claims to have only received 788 signatures to validate. What happened to those other 1,962 signatures? Are they lost? Maybe tucked away in an "oops" area? Maybe just omitted on purpose? I don't know the answers, but somebody must be accountable for this blunder. Read the press release in the Daytondailynews. It has the story in black and white.
I must mention that out of those 788 they do claim to have received 638 were found to be valid. With a percentage like that, there would be no question that Christopher would be on the Republican ticket this next primary. Maybe that thought is to scary for those professional politicians in Columbus. I am sure the Christopher camp will be doing their best to pursue the next avenue to vindicate themselves, and get their rightful place on the ticket, so the voters in Ohio can truly voice their opinion.
