The Liberty Voice is an independent news and commentary publication that was started in 2007 in Central Ohio. Currently, The Liberty Voice is based out of Austin, TX, and is run by Editor-in-Cheif/Publisher Jason Rink.
At it’s peak, The Liberty Voice had a monthly circulation of 25,000 copies, distributed throughout Ohio and across the world. Currently, The Liberty Voice print publication is on indefinite hiatus as we overhaul the design, and seek to establish distributors across the country. Please contact us if you would be interested in distributing The Liberty Voice in your area.
The Liberty Voice Podcast is fearlessly hosted each week by Jason Rink and John Bush. Here’s a little bit about those dudes:
Jason Rink is a contributing author of “Ron Paul: A Life of Ideas,” the biography of Congressman Ron Paul. His work has also been featured on the anti-war, anti-state, pro-market website Lewrockwell.com.
Though not a personal fan of FOX News Channel, Jason has appeared as a guest on FOX Business Channel’s “America’s Nightly Scoreboard” , the FOX News program “On The Record with Greta Van Susteren,” and “Freedom Watch” with Judge Andrew Napolitano.
Over the course of the last ten years, Jason has been a pastor, a grassroots political activist, and a professional speaker. He has spoken over one-hundred times to audiences of all ages, ranging from 20 to 20,000 in attendance on a variety of topics such as State Sovereignty, the U.S. Constitution, Early American History, Political Activism, Money and Economics.
Jason is currently the Executive Director of The Foundation for a Free Society, a 501c3 non-profit, educational organization in Austin, Texas. They teach people how to be free.
He lives with his wife of 12 years, Tisa, his 11-year old son, Ethan, and dog named Rocco.
John Bush was born and raised in Austin, Texas and is currently the Executive Director of the trans-partisan political action committee, Texans for Accountable Government (TAG) TAG’s mission is to promote the cause of liberty through trans-partisan local activism. Under John’s leadership, the organization has successfully provided privacy and civil liberties safeguards for the local Department of Homeland Security fusion center, stopped state-wide checkpoints, pushed for a veto of a draconian child protective services bill, and prevented local law enforcement from initiating a federal program that would have trained police officers to withdraw blood from suspected drunk drivers.
Alongside his activities with TAG, John Bush has been touring the country visiting over 10 states and educating the public and law enforcement officials about the dangers of the police/surveillance state and the DHS fusion centers. This effort, deemed Operation Defuse, is also working to build relationships and understanding amongst law enforcement and the activist community. Bush has similar plans to tour the country in 2011 educating citizens and public officials about Agenda 21 and the International Council of Local Environmental Initiatives ( ICLEI ).
Recently John helped to start the Foundation for a Free Society and is currently serving as the Educational Director.
John’s aspiration is to utilize the various efforts he is involved in order to create a more free and prosperous society that ALL can enjoy.
