Pat Tiberi never bothered to sign the We Believe “no sleaze” pledge because Pinocchio Pat knows he will say and do anything to stay in office…and Pinocchio Pat has the voting and campaign contribution record to prove it.
Of course, it is far easier to go on the offensive with only 5 days left in the campaign–I mean, otherwise facts may enter into the discussion!!!!
Pat doesn’t like those.
So here is Robinson’s response to Tiberi’s offensive attack of lies.
little more than a week remains before E-Day, on which most Americans will vote. Nerves are being fearfully wracked. Even people who are usually somnolent say they can’t take the stress. There is a real danger that, unaddressed, the frustration of choosing between a Communist illegal alien raised by a Communist sex pervert and a POW traitor who is a Soviet front man could lead to an epidemic of Acid Reflux Disease or even an outbreak of Restless Leg Syndrome.
The purpose of this modest piece is to reassure you. Stop tormenting yourself. Further self-flagellation is pointless. Your next President has already been selected. Didn’t you know? Sure, go ahead and vote if you like, if you have nothing else to do, if you don’t mind standing in long lines between Obamatron morons and McCrud zombies, but enjoy the reassurance of knowing that the powers above Ponzi Paulson and Helicopter Ben Bernanke and Co. have already made their choice.
He is Zbigniew Brzezinski. What? Who? Is this some kind of Polish joke? Sadly, it is not. The lustiest enjoyer of Polish jokes in my experience was a remarkably gorgeous Polish lady I knew many years ago in the Bay Area. Every couple of years, I would come through on a speaking tour and she would press me for the latest Polish jokes I had heard. Again Zbigniew Brzezinski is not one of them. He is not just a victim of partial vowel deprivation.
If so you are invited to serve as an official election observer on November 4, 2008. Official observers watch the elections in the polling places and are present during the ballot count.
The Constitution Party of Ohio (Chairman Robert Owens and Secretary Terri Owens) and The Ohio Election Justice Campaign are training and managing official election observers. There is no experience needed – only a commitment to join your fellow citizens in safeguarding our democracy during the ballot count.
“Chase recently received $25 billion in federal funding. What effect will that have on the business side and will it change our strategic lending policy?”
It was Oct. 17, just four days after JPMorgan Chase’s chief executive, Jamie Dimon, agreed to take a $25 billion capital injection courtesy of the United States government, when a JPMorgan employee asked that question. It came toward the end of an employee-only conference call that had been largely devoted to meshing certain divisions of JPMorgan with its new acquisition, Washington Mutual.
Which, of course, it also got thanks to the federal government. Christmas came early at JPMorgan Chase.
The JPMorgan executive who was moderating the employee conference call didn’t hesitate to answer a question that was pretty politically sensitive given the events of the previous few weeks.
Given the way, that is, that Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson Jr. had decided to use the first installment of the $700 billion bailout money to recapitalize banks instead of buying up their toxic securities, which he had then sold to Congress and the American people as the best and fastest way to get the banks to start making loans again, and help prevent this recession from getting much, much worse.
Laws must be justified by something more than the will of the majority. They must rest on the eternal foundation of righteousness. That state is most fortunate in its form of government which has the aptest instruments for the discovery of laws. The latest, most modern and nearest perfect system that statesmanship has devised is representative government. Its weakness is the weakness of us imperfect human beings who administer it. Its strength is that even such administration secures to the people more blessings than any other system ever produced. No nation has discarded it and retained liberty. Representative government must be preserved.
Tiberi showed tremendous insensitivity to a significant portion of his constituency in the October 13th debate, saying “To hold the same standard for my daughter growing up in American household and an illiterate coming from another country like Somalia…is a little bit problematic.”
That may be, but I bet there are 50,000 Somalis that can read more than well enough to cast their vote for someone other than Pat Tiberi.
On Monday, October 13, the televised debate between Republican incumbent Pat Tiberi, Democratic challenger David Robinson and Libertarian candidate Steve Linnabary began the first of the mud slinging portion of the final stretch of the battle for OHio’s 12th Congressional seat. What happens next will be anyone’s guess as the two front-runners, Robinson and Tiberi face off tonight in a debate to be broadcast live at 8 p.m. as the proverbial you-know-what hits the fan from the WOSU studios at COSI.
One of the items sure to be of discussion will be Rep. Pat Tiberi’s accusation that Dr. David Robinson plagiarized his Apollo II energy initiative from a piece of legislation introduced by Washington Rep. Jay Inslee in 2005, also called the Apollo Project. In the October 13th debate, Tiberi said,
“Interesting to note, my opponent just mentioned his Apollo II energy project, and I was reading through it over the weekend. I also read–I thought it looked familiar–a bill that was introduced by Jay Inslee in 2005 that is remarkably the same–and I encourage all the reporters here to look at it. Jay Inslee, the Apollo project, that is almost word for word like the Apollo II project.”
Pat Tiberi, in the midst of Ohio’s massively documented e-voting frauds declares, “The horse is dead. We’re beating a dead horse” and “The election is over, let’s get on with it.”
Last night (October 16) at the debate held at the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, Pat Tiberi said, ” I will continue to work hard for you everyday to do what’s right for America–to do what’s right for our children.”
Yeah, “cause at the end of the day, when [he] looks into his daughter’s eyes, it’s about her.”

After a life of service in her churches and various civic organizations, she began to understand the role of government in many of the crises she addressed in her charity work–finally reaching the conclusion that either “you get politics [...]
National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51), signed by Bush and released without comment by the White House on May 9, 2007 has given George W. Bush and subsequent presidents the dictatorial powers hinted at in NSPD-51. To quote from NSPD-51: “This policy establishes ‘National Essential Functions,’ prescriptive continuity requirements … that will enhance the creditability of our national security posture and enable a more rapid and effective response to and recovery from a national emergency.”
Under NSPD-51, only limited of government will continue, which may or may not include Congress and the courts. NSPD-51 assures us: This which usually refers to the informal and voluntary recognition of jurisdiction among courts, is a troublesomely ambiguous phrase in this context wherein the president determines this as he “coordinates.”
Unfortunately, NSPD-51 provides limited “guidance” to state and local governments, as “This directive…shall be protected from unauthorized disclosure, provided that, except for Annex A, the Annexes attached to this directive are classified and shall be accorded appropriate handling, consistent with applicable Executive Orders.” In other words, all the details are secret and even the non-secret “Annex A” remains undisclosed by the White House.
